출품 안내 Entry Information
제14회 디아스포라영화제는 2026년 5월 22일부터 5월 26일까지 인천광역시 일대에서 개최된다. 단, 영화제 사정으로 개최 시기는 변동될 수 있다.
The 14th DIAFF will take place from May 22 to 26, 2026 in Incheon, Korea. The schedule is subject to change due to the festival circumstances.
1. 공모 대상 Eligibility
① 제작 시기: 2024년도 1월 이후에 제작이 완료된 작품에 한한다.
② 장르/시간: 극영화, 다큐멘터리, 애니메이션, 실험영화 등 모든 장르와 상영 시간의 장·단편 영화.
③ 주제/소재:
- 이주, 이동, 분산, 이산을 뜻하는 ‘디아스포라’를 주제 및 소재로 한 영화.
- 인종, 국적, 민족, 전쟁과 분쟁, 난민, 세대, 성별, 섹슈얼리티, 환경 등의 이슈를 디아스포라의 관점에서 다룬 영화.
- 다양한 사회, 정치, 경제, 문화적인 이유로 자신의 공동체를 떠나 새로운 공동체를 찾는 사람들의 이야기를 담은 영화.
④ 자막:
- 영어 자막 : 영어 대사 작품이 아닌 경우, 출품 시 영어 자막이 없는 스크리너도 제출 가능하나 추후 공식 상영작으로 확정 시 영어 자막이 필수로 포함되어야 한다. (미포함 시 선정이 취소될 수 있음.)
- 한국어 자막 : 한국어 대사 작품이 아닌 경우는 추후 상영작 확정 시 한국어 자막이 필수로 삽입되어야 한다.
⑤ 기타:
- 국적과 관계없이 누구나 출품 가능하다.
- 타 영화제 상영, 극장 개봉작 모두 출품 가능하다. (단, 기출품작 출품 금지)
- 시사용 스크리너는 해당 작품이 상영작으로 최종 선정될 경우, 최종 상영 버전과 동일해야 하며, 만약 시사용 스크리너와 최종 상영본이 상이할 경우 영화제 사무국에 이와 같은 사실을 알려야 한다.
- 출품 접수된 자료는 반환하지 않는다.
- 상영작으로 선정된 후, 디아스포라영화제 개최 이전 국내외 타 영화제 상영 내역이 추가될 경우 영화제 사무국에 이 사실을 알려야 한다.
a. Production Date: All submissions should be completed after January 2024.
b. Genre/Length: Films of all genres and lengths are considered for the selection.
c. Themes:
- The films addressing diaspora issues of ‘Migration’, ‘Transfer’ and ‘Separation’.
- The films around ‘Race’, ‘Nation (or Nationality)’, ‘War/Conflict’, ‘Refugee’, ‘Generation’, ‘Gender’, ‘Sexuality’ and ‘Environment’ from the diaspora point of view.
-The films addressing the story of those who leave their own communities and seek new places for various reasons including social, political, economic and cultural matters.
d. Subtitles:
- English Subtitles: Films not in English or containing non-English dialogue must have English subtitles embedded in the final screening copy.(It may result in disqualification if not included.)
e. Others:
- Any nationality can participate.
- Films screened at other festivals or released theatrically are eligible.
- A preview screener must be the same cut as the final screening copy. If a screening copy is different from the preview screener, it should be informed to the festival immediately.
- Material submitted for pre-selection will not be returned.
- Once selected for screening, if the film is confirmed to screen at any other film festival prior to the Diaspora Film Festival, the applicant shall inform the festival office accordingly.
2. 공모 기간 Deadlines
- 2025년 12월 1일(월) - 2026년 1월 23일(금) 17:00 *한국시간 기준
- December 1 (Mon), 2025 - January 23 (Fri), 2026, 17:00 (KST)
3. 제출 Submission
- 디아스포라영화제 출품 홈페이지에서 ‘온라인 출품 신청서’를 작성하여 스크리너 링크와 함께 온라인 제출

※ 온라인 출품 홈페이지를 통해 출품 신청서 제출과 스크리너 업로드가 모두 완료된 상태만 출품 신청이 완료된 것으로 간주함.
- Please fill in the application form on the entry website, and submit it with the online screener link.

※ Once you upload both application form and screener, your application will be considered complete.
4. 공식 상영작 선정 Selection
- 최종 선정된 작품은 영화제 개최 전 개별 통보 후 영화제 홈페이지에 공개
- 영화제 공식 상영작으로 선정되어 상영에 동의한 작품은 이후 상영 의사 철회 불가
- 공식 상영작으로 선정된 작품은 영화제 내부 규정에 의거 소정의 상영료 지급 예정
- The final selections will be notified to each applicant before the festival and announced on the DIAFF official website.
- Once the screening agreement is submitted, the selected film cannot be withdrawn from the festival program.
- DIAFF pays flat fee for the screenings according to the internal regulations of the festival.
5. 유의 사항 Note
- 반드시 출품 규정을 읽은 후 출품 신청서를 작성해야 하며, 출품 신청서 제출 완료 시 출품 규정에 동의한 것으로 간주함.
- 단체 출품의 경우 디아스포라영화제 프로그램팀으로 이메일 문의
- By submitting the completed application form, you confirm that you have read and agree to the official rules and terms including our regulations.
